EMERGENCY DEFINITION – if it hurts, it’s an emergency. When there is any kind of dental pain or an injury to the teeth, call the dental clinic as soon as possible.  The quicker the situation is assessed and taken care of, the more chance there is of saving the teeth.

DENTAL PAIN is irritation of the nerves of the teeth or inflamed gums.  Many conditions can cause it and only a dentist can diagnose it.

HEADACHES - Jaw pain can be mistaken for Migraine.  Headaches and mouth pain all go through the same nerves so if a headache persists, it could be the result of a problem with the teeth.

Issues like these have a habit of escalating quickly.
