When I first met with Dr. Chai I had over 40 dental problems. Without pressure he scheduled me for a reasonable number of visits. I was extremely pleased with his planning and the shorter number of visits. Many dentists would possible stretch the number of visits and limit the work done at each, but Dr. Chai showed the expertise to accomplish a lot in a quick and satisfying manner.
Most people, I believe, dislike the experience of a dentist visit. Dr. Chai and all of his staff provide an atmosphere of welcoming acceptance and friendliness, while maintaining the highest professional standards. From newsletter sent to your home, which detail exact events at the dental clinic, to welcome gifts, a patient recognizes that everyone honestly cares. Dr. Chai and his staff have up-to-date training and experience with the use of a growing field of technology. Due to facial muscle stress, the inside of my mouth was massaged with equipment which also includes a machine which non –invasively kills bacteria on my gums; which cannot be brushed away. I was also introduced to Rotodent, a teeth cleaning system which has turned brushing my teeth at home from a chore to fun!

First of all, I was delighted to receive an ad in the mail advertising a free first visit and consultation. Upon my arrival I was greeted warmly by all the staff and given a tour of the practice by a pleasant and well informed greeter, who pointed out all the latest equipment for the care of people’s teeth. Very impressive!! I was interviewed by the dental assistant who patiently listened to me explaining my dental problems. She also took x-rays and showed them to me. I finally met Dr. Jesse Chai and he explained them to me and what needed to be done to correct my problems. I was very impressed by his calmness and professionalism.
I will never again fear the injection in my gums. I had many injections in my lower mouth and chin and did not feel a thing. It was amazing! Because of the kindness and hospitality of all the staff and Dr. Jesse Chai I will always look forward with pleasure to any necessary visits I have to make in the future. Since the age of ten I have had a HUGE FEAR of going to the dentist. I am now 53 years old and in that span of time have only been to the dentist 3 times, and only for emergencies. Recently I have been experiencing problems with my teeth and gums that are affecting my health. So, after reading a newsletter from Dr. Chai and his team, I felt that they were the best to go to. Of course a dental visit is still not my favourite event but my fears have been calmed and I know I have chosen the best dentist for me. My first “one-stop, in-office” crown was a learning experience. I was so pleased with the results and I had a lot less fear about getting others later.

My daughter is having an ortho appliance installed today. She was a bit nervous coming to the appointment. When we arrived and she saw that Suada and Antonella were going to be installing it, she was no longer nervous. They made her feel very comfortable throughout the whole appointment. They were also very informative after in explaining the do’s and don’ts.

My hygienist, Sarah, discovered a deep cavity during a routine cleaning. Dr. Chai was able to schedule a filling right after my cleaning, thus eliminating the need to come back for a second appointment. I have 3 kids so it is difficult to schedule time. Jack had several cavities that required filling for the first time. He is a “gaggy” kid so it required patience to get the work done. The staff were extremely patient with him and supportive. They talked him through the whole process. The kept reassuring him that he was doing a good job and checking in to see if he was doing okay or needed a break. They were quick and efficient and explained to Jack what they were doing e ach step of the way. A job very well done!

The dentists were very good with my teeth. They cleaned by teeth of plaque and cavities. They helped with my teeth when they were hurting because of muscle pain. I have been with Dr. Chai almost my whole life and trust him with my teeth.
A very good benefit I’ve gotten from coming here was that they fixed my teeth and cleaned them. My teeth didn’t hurt anymore when I took a bite of food.

I have never done well with the freezing meds and recently they have not been working. I’ve been afraid to go to the dentist. Dr. Chai assured me he would give me plenty of anesthetic and it was awesome, no pain!

Dr. Chai gave me his honest opinion whether or not a root canal was necessary, as well as the pros and cons of either decision. I had the root canal done and have not had any issues and am happy I got it done.

During a regular check up for my daughter Rebecca, Dr. Chai had noticed how crowded her teeth were. He recommended an ortho exam. My husband and I were very unsure because she was so young (6 years old). We went forward with the exam. During the exam one of the assistants gave us some information and symptoms that people may get from narrow airways. We were shocked because my daughter had many of the symptoms, e.g. leg cramps, nightmares and would lose her breath when playing soccer. After 2 weeks of stating the process Rebecca had no more nightmares or leg cramps. She was able to continue with soccer. We realized that the decision we made was not only for her teeth but also for her overall health. I now keep regular check ups and realize how important oral health is to your overall health.

My root canal was a good experience before, during and after. The fear I had was dispelled. My teeth haven’t been cleaned in years and the dental hygienist was absolutely fantastic. The root canals do not hurt and it’s called root canal “therapy”. Oral cleaning was re-instilled in me; this was something I had know I was ignoring, but not anymore!

I visited Dr. Chai to have my front teeth corrected. As a child I suffered from crowding and metal allergies. This caused my top front teeth to be severely overlapped and stained. Dr. Chai recommended bonding vs. veneers due to the safety reasons. I received the bonding procedure in a 30 minute session and have never been more pleased with any results. My teeth look amazing and have given me an entirely new smile. When my smile was revealed to me I was in tears and could not be more grateful. I was entirely pleased with my visit and would recommend Dr. Chai to anyone. He is quick, friendly and honest. I couldn’t ask for more.
Honesty- Dr. Chai recommended a cheaper, faster method to fix my teeth, than I had expected. I came in for veneers and was told about bonding, which was cheaper and faster. I’ll be forever grateful!

I had to have emergency dental work done. I was able to come in and Dr. Chai was able to work me into the schedule. During the visit Dr. Chai and all the assistants were comforting and prepared me by telling me what needed to be done. Also, Dr. Chai is very gentle with freezing my gums. That night I received a call from Dr.Chai making sure that I was ok from all the dental work. I couldn’t believe it. After not visiting the dentist for over 2 years, I returned and was treated like I never missed and appointment. My teeth were in poor repair, but my hygienist, Sarah New, did an outstanding job polishing up my scummy mouth. Stains and tartar were removed to reveal my happy smile again. My teeth were in such poor condition that Sarah was required to stay late in order to finish my appointment, but she seemed genuinely happy to stay and finish, giving me my smile back. My teeth had become stained due to poor hygiene. I consciously avoided smiling due to said stains. One visit to your office and a determined hygienist and those stains vanished. After 2 weeks of dealing with a canker sore in my mouth, with so much pain and trying everything from salt water to over the counter medicine and nothing worked out. Even rinsing with Listerine the pain would go away for a few minutes and then come back. I could not eat or sleep without waking up to terrible pain. I walked into Dr. Chai’s office for an appointment for my son and asked if I could be seen for a sore in my mouth. As soon as Dr. Chai started to laser the sore the pain started to go away. It was amazing, no pain in minutes. I could finally close my mouth and breathe deep.

Sedation- Dentist’s are very traumatic for me. I have had sedation for every tooth I have had taken out. If I had known that I could be sedated for other dental work, I would still have some teeth left. I found it was easier to have a tooth pulled under sedation then have it repaired and go through the traumatic experience. Dr. Chai and the nurse were great. I was sedated for 4 hours and it felt like 10 minutes.

I am very nervous to have any procedures done at the dentist. When I have had a root canal done, I opted to have sedation. It was a really good experience. I don’t remember the procedure, and was very relaxed after. I would definitely be doing it with any procedure in the future and would recommend it to anyone who has anxiety. Everything was very safe and I was monitored throughout.
I came in for an opinion to fix my “black” tooth, the office staff was so friendly and helpful, I felt very relaxed. I can’t believe the amazing difference, no pain and a beautiful new white smile.

After a year and a half of treatment, all the symptoms I previously had – including stiff and sore neck, low-grade headaches, and locking of my jaw with pain – are gone. I still have a small clicking noise in my jaw joints (which will remain due to the permanent damage done to the jaw joints prior to seeking TMJ treatment). Let me start by saying I was actually shocked by the amazing way a new patient is welcomed at Bradford Family Dentistry.
I have been a patient of the same dentist for 25 years. I ventured out looking for an orthodontist.
I found Bradford Family Dentistry’s website easily.
Upon arriving for a consultation, I was presented with a welcome tour and personal welcome letter from the dentist.
If you are thirsty, juice and water are available for the taking along with granola bars and popcorn.
The equipment is the most state of the art I have seen, and did not even realize existed. There is a bacterial finder that seeks out cavities before they are even a cavity so much of the drilling and filling, etc, are eliminated (great for kids). I have 4 crowns from my previous dentist, which took over 8 appointments to install. With Bradford Family Dentistry, you can have your new crown in the same appointment in about 90 minutes. AMAZING!!!
Of course before and after pictures of previous work done on patients is supplied for your perusal.
The computer system is also state of the art for communication between the dentist and the front desk (no more little cards with shaded pictures of teeth with your fillings on it).The staff is friendly and courteous and go out of their way to welcome you.
I would recommend Bradford Family Dentistry for young or old

Each visit is a pleasure – I am greeted at the door and walked in. All the staff is chatty and pleasant but Suada is my regular hygienist and she always remembers me and my fiancé. I recommended that he come to Dr. Chai as well. On one occasion, I was about to take a trip and Suada sent me a note to say “Have a great time!”
